Campout for a Wiikend
Well, this weekend I camped out for the new Nintendo Wii. I left around 4 o’ clock and headed to the local Target. There was no one in line yet so I just kinda walked around the store. At about 5:30, I heard that the Fred Meyer next door was having a midnight launch. I headed over there and waited in line. They had 90 consoles and I was the 63 person in line to get one. After getting my ticket that guaranteed me a console at midnight I decided to run back over to target and see if I could get in line and try and get a second wii to sell online. It was still pretty empty there at 11 to my surprise, so I set up my tent and went back to get my Wii from Fred Meyer. After getting the first wii, I celebrated and went back to Target and went to sleep. At 7 the next morning they handed out the tickets, I was number 28. I got my second wii and all the games and accessories they had run out of at Fred Meyer.
When I finally I got home at about 8:45 I setup the system and played. Its been great. I can already safely say it is the most fun I’ve ever had playing video games.
